Strictly Temporary

In some ways, this is an entirely irrelevant post, but I just want to express how hard Ive been working on Falling Deep 4. I've got the Songs For The Broken-Hearted more or less finalzed (one more track to uplaod), and all I have to do is put them in order. It was whittled down from around 3 hours of songs. I managed to find and download EVERY SINGLE SONG I have on vinyl and was unable to make digitial. I have been most persistent.

Songs for Lovers is more arduous, as it stands I have to cut out 20 minutes, and I have no idea where to start. This was cut down from 3 and 1/2 hours of music. But at least I can see the end of the tunnel.

I was going to rush and have them done this morning (mainly so I could get them to people at work so they could listen on their drive home), but Im taking the weekend to really make the sequence perfect.

I listened to every song at least twice yesterday and in a very rough order, and I have to say I think these discs are really going to be amazing. What I want is for people to either copulate or get pretty vlose at least during the first disc and for the 2nd disc, plain and simple I want them to cry. And I honestly think that will be achieved. This collection is pretty fucking intense.

So yeah, thats it.

Actually one might reasonably expect to cry at the 2nd half of the first disc, as well. thats where it gets all lvoey dovey and sentimental and misty. listen to it with the moonlight and someone special.

I think thats certainly a suitable alternative

although the promise of copulation from disc one intrigues me, too bad i'll have to find someone to copulate with me. poor jackie.

Jackie, you can love yourself of course. Once again, a perfectly suitable alternative.

Jackie said...

yeah, its my preferred method of copulation. but i think we all know that by now.

Yes, its quite an endearing trait

i just never get sick of myself! i can't get enough of me!

i'm like that sketch on kids in the hall where kevin sues himself for sexual harrassment, i can't keep my hands off of myself.

as you can see, i'm bored before i have to go back to work.

It's now becoming my goal to have sex while listening to every volume of Falling Deep.

One down...a lot more to go.

i dont like sex to music. it seems distracting to me. and i get easily distracted.

Richard said...

Yes you certainly do, Jackie!

I actually dont like sex to music either. But this Falling Deep will be a gift to everyone who does.

I have to be in the mood for it. Most of the time I'm not, but every now and then...Fun House must be on the stereo.

well.... as lame and indie as this sounds, fever to tell by the yeah yeah yeahs always gets me in the mood. i made the mistake of saying that it did one time and a boy took advantage of this opportunity and lovemaking commenced. ew, lovemaking, that sounds gross.

Fugazi's "The Argument" is good for that, too. Don't ask me why.

Launch is playing "She's a Fool" by Leslie Gore. I figured you'd like that, Jackie.
