Ok, here's the long gone postscript to the long forgotten invective fest we had towards the Flaming Lips ahwile back, I think this sums up their "qualities" beyond a shadow of a doubt...I was reading the WRC updates and some fellow reviewed thier latest record and since I have nothing else to do, I read it, and well here it is...they have a song called "It Overtakes Me"...two lyrics that rhyme with the title..."it master/slaves me"---pretty terrible huh? well get ready to vomit at the immortal genius of these freaks with the next line..."it wakes and bakes me!"
wow! those are some amazing lyrics. i came home one day and my roomate caroline was listening to flaming lips. i was very dissapointed. sleater-kinney is one of her favorite bands, so i figured we might slightly be on the same level, apparently not. oh well.
yes the puppy is real! i held it the whole car ride from antigo to green bay. it was amazing! the puppy adored me. at least i think it did, haha.
and my wireless internet is working! yeah! someone come talk to me on instant messenger! i guess that means rich, since he's the only one who knows my name.

i stayed up late last night trying to find decent porn on youtube, but apparently if it is anything remotely sexual they take it off the website. my roommates probably think i'm insane. oh well.

I think my wisdom teeth have finally decided that I'm wise enough for them to start trying to pop out. It's making my face start to swell up a little. I need to find a dentist, stat.
i've never had my wisdom teeth out. one came in, but i guess i have room for it so there's just like an extra tooth in the back of my mouth. my dad never had his out, so i'm chalking it up to genetics.

oh! and i have a job interview tommorow at a photography place. bitchin'.

D, I won't be seeing the Yellow Swans (even though I really really want to) or anything else tonight or the entire weekend in fact. I'm way too deep into trying to finish Splish and its little attachments. My social life is shut down Ive been taking days off work on the sly, etc. this is how I always get. So yeah, part of me is seriously tempted to go but i wouldnt even be able to enjoy it cuz Id be thinking of what I need to fix in each unfinished piece.
I think I'm gonna skip the Yellow Swans and go see Head at the Music Box instead. I'm still wiped out from the Comets on Fire show...I need to make sure I'm fully recovered before the Elverum gang arrives.

I've been listening to Arthur a lot, primarily because I left the CD in my computer at work. I keep meaning to order the new Adrian Orange CD...but then I forget. All my spare cash seems to be finding its way into my yarn stash...though one of the songs that I absolutely flipped for when I saw him live is on that album. I think I'm gonna send Marriage Records some money today after all.
Oh yeah, that one's awesome. Marriage has a beautiful promo poster for that record on sale for a penny on their website. I broke down and bought "Bitches Is Lord" today. I've gotta have something to do at work, I guess.
