Keith Olbermann used to do sportscasting and voiceover work. I think he was in some Boston Market commercials? He's one of the few reasons that I miss cable, and really the only thing keeping MSNBC afloat. I loved him before because he's wicked funny and excellent at putting things into perspective...but now, man. I'll miss him when he's thrown in a prison camp. Maybe I'll end up in the same one, we can hang out.
On a totally unrelated side note...93 years ago this morning, Marie Theresa Platek was born, along with her twin brother Joseph in Spring Valley, IL. Jospeh died several years ago, but Marie is ALIVE and has actually outlived all her siblings. Marie is of course my maternal grandmother and of the most glorious humans to ever walk the earth. Even if you've never met her, youve read her thoughts, words, and emotions in the book she helped me write sections of, which came out in 2005. It's called Scatter. So, if youre near Westmost, IL---feel free to visit her and if you cant send her good energy.

to give you an idea of how stupid moore is, he believes that the bush-era economy is stronger than it ever was during the clinton administration, and that there was a higher umemployment rate then, and that clinton job growth rate wasn't as great as bush's.

One can certainly criticize Clinton's economic policies (privatizing utilities will create competition? you kidding me? anyone in Illinois/New York/California would know better than that...not to mention his crippling of welfare), it's common knowledge that his administration saw the largest growth in the job market since the 1960s. And while the bubble may have burst in the end, he can't be blamed for the dot-com bust. His SEC was pretty lax, though. Regardless, there's no comparison between his administration and the current one in terms of economy--different paradigms, different priorities, different results.
