i'm applying to UIC to finish school, isn't that kinda thrilling?

You should take classes with Liz!

I don't know about anyone else, but I cannot get behind this HPV vaccine. Something about fearing a bunch of 12-year-olds with warts sprouting from their coochies from a shot gone haywire just gives me nightmares. I almost can't believe that the drug industry went there.

well i'm not gonna take art classes, so the chances of that happening are probably rather slim.

But art classes are fun...though I don't know how flexible UIC's transfer policy is, so you've probably gotten all of your electives and then some out of the way.

art classes are RARELY taken by non-art students, mainly because there's barely enough room for those in the art school as it is. especially electives... i basically have to take whatever is open if it isn't my major. but that would be cool if you came to uic! we could have lunch together!

you'd probably be taking a lot of gender/women's studies, right? well i took two classes in gws with jennifer brier. one was the history of american women and the other was sexuality and community--FASCINATING CLASSES. although you've probably already taken classes like that i just wanted to let you know that she's really cool, and not just because all your work for the semester consists of reading, talking, and three papers (one of which replaces any written final exam--so you don't have to go to her class during finals week).

thanks for the info liz! yeah i would finish my degree in gender studies, even though i don't want to. i assume as much about art classes, that's the way it was at uw-madison too. and i have no desire to take any art classes in a university setting again.
and yeah, we could have lunch together, how precious!
